Dr. Rhoads provides neuropsychological evaluation and expert witness consultation in a variety of clinical and medicolegal contexts, including personal injury and medical malpractice, particularly for cases involving:

• Medical provider fitness-for-duty and return to work issues

• Post-surgical complications

• Traumatic brain injury

• Hypoxic/Anoxic brain injury

• Stroke

• Chronic pain

Consultation is also provided on cases involving estate and trust litigation, vulnerability, undue influence and issues around capacity, including:

• Testamentary

• Financial

• Medical decision making

Dr. Rhoads also provides neuropsychological evaluation and consultation for concussions and return-to-play issues and has served as the primary neuropsychological consultant for the Seattle Sounders since 2009 and is also the primary neuropsychology consultant for the Seattle NHL, NFL, NWSL and affiliated teams.

Dr. Rhoads is a Professor of Neurology at the University of Washington School of Medicine and currently serves as a clinical neuropsychologist at Harborview Medical Center. At this time, all other neuropsychological evaluations involving clinical issues are conducted at the Harborview Neuropsychological Assessment Services lab.
